Notice Regarding Impact of Earthquake in Iwate and Miyagi Regions of Japan

Tokyo, June 16, 2008 – As a result of the earthquake of June 14 that struck the Iwate and Miyagi regions of Japan, partial damage was sustained to Fujitsu Microelectronics' semiconductor fabrication plant in Iwate. Immediately after the earthquake, a task force was established, and investigations are underway regarding the extent of damages sustained and required additional countermeasures.

Regarding Media Reports on Semiconductor Business

Tokyo, May 21, 2008 – There were reports in the media today that Fujitsu Limited is negotiating with Toshiba Corp. on a capital tie-up for the semiconductor business. These reports are not based on information released by Fujitsu. Specifically, the reports state that Toshiba will take a majority stake in Fujitsu subsidiary Fujitsu Microelectronics Limited. Fujitsu has no such plan and has not entered into any such negotiations regarding its semiconductor business.

Tokyo, January 23, 2008 – There were reports in the media today that Fujitsu Limited is planning to collaborate with Toshiba Corp. and NEC Electronics Corp. on the development of LSI manufacturing technology. Fujitsu does not have such a plan.

Notice Regarding Percentage of Reduction in Net Assets

Notice Regarding Internal Investigation on Transactions Involving a Fujitsu Consolidated Subsidiary

Tokyo, June 15, 2007 – After conducting an internal investigation into allegations of involvement in fictitious transactions by a former employee of Fujitsu Kansai Systems Limited, a consolidated subsidiary of Fujitsu Limited, it has been determined that fictitious transactions totaling at the most 4.4 billion yen in fiscal 2006 sales of Fujitsu Kansai Systems may have taken place.

Notice Regarding Media Reports on Transactions Involving a Fujitsu-Affiliated Company

Tokyo, June 7, 2007 – It has been reported in the media today that an employee of Fujitsu Kansai Systems Limited, an affiliated company of Fujitsu Limited, is suspected of having been involved in fictitious transactions associated with the bankruptcy filing of NAJ K.K. Together with outside legal counsel, we have been conducting a detailed internal investigation into this matter. In the process of this investigation, we have determined that, unfortunately, the employee in question was indeed involved in some of the fictitious transactions initiated by NAJ.

Regarding Media Reports on Fujitsu's Financial Results

March 19, 2007 – It has been reported today in certain media that Fujitsu Limited will revise its unconsolidated financial earnings projections for fiscal 2006 (fiscal year ending March 31, 2007). No such decision has been made at this time.

Update Regarding Sony Battery Pack Replacement Program

March 1, 2007 – This notice is to announce the addition of certain Sony battery packs subject to the voluntary replacement program that Fujitsu Limited and various Fujitsu Group companies and affiliates have been offering for specified Fujitsu notebook PC models since last October. Based on new information received from Sony, battery packs with Lot Numbers as shown below have been added:

Update Regarding Sony Battery Pack Replacement Program

January 30, 2007 – As previously announced, Fujitsu Limited and various Fujitsu Group companies and affiliates have been offering a voluntary replacement program for Sony-made battery packs in specified Fujitsu notebook PC models since last October. To date, however, many individual users with battery packs subject to the replacement program have not yet applied. We would once again encourage customers to confirm whether their Fujitsu notebook PCs are subject to the program and, if affected, apply for replacement of the battery pack as soon as possible.

Update Regarding Sony Battery Pack Replacement Program

October 28, 2006 – On October 17, 2006, we updated an earlier notice to Fujitsu customers regarding the Sony battery pack replacement program, providing information on how to verify which Fujitsu notebook PC models were eligible for the voluntary replacement program. In the meantime, on October 24, 2006, we received a report from a customer in Japan that a Fujitsu notebook PC with a battery pack subject to the replacement program had an incident in which the battery pack overheated and sparked. After investigating this incident together with Sony, it has been concluded that the incident resulted from the Sony-made battery pack, and we are now pursuing further detailed investigations.

Update Regarding Sony Battery Pack Replacement Program

October 17, 2006 – On September 28, 2006, Sony Corporation announced a voluntary replacement program for certain Sony-made battery packs. In response to Sony's announcement, on September 30 we announced our decision to cooperate with Sony's voluntary battery replacement program by offering voluntary replacement of the Sony-made battery packs in specified Fujitsu notebook PC models.

Notice Regarding Sony Battery Pack Replacement Program

September 30, 2006 – On September 28, Sony Corporation announced a voluntary replacement program for certain of its battery packs.As of this time, we are not aware of any instances of battery pack problems involving Fujitsu notebook PCs similar to those that have been announced by Dell and Apple Computer.Nevertheless, in response to Sony’s announcement, we have decided to cooperate with Sony’s voluntary battery replacement program. Specifically, we plan to offer voluntary replacement of the Sony-made battery packs in the Fujitsu notebook PC models listed below. Details will be announced separately following consultation with Sony.
